Februarys meeting due to the rain and bad weather had 7 ladies in attendance. We had a special guest attend, Moe our District President. It was a pleasure to have her visit. Discussions were conducted about meals and a short report was made by Irene Clingman on the process of the 2023 Poppy and Food Drives.
Sunday, March 5th Our special will be omelets cooked to order. Also on the menu is Sausage, ham, eggs any way you like, home fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy with blueberry pancakes, juice and coffee. Come and enjoy a great homecooked breakfast. Due to the increased costing of food items we will have to increase our price per breakfast to $13.00, still a great deal.
Friday, March 17th St. Patrick’s day dinner will be (everyone’s favorite) Corned Beef and Cabbage and dessert. Dinner is served from 5:30 pm to 7pm or until we run out of food.
Keep the donations coming for Camp Pendleton. Thanks to everyone who has donated to this worthy cause. Canned Tuna, Chicken, Pastas, Rice, box Mac & Cheese, healthy Cereals PB&J these are just a few of items needed. Put all donations in the gray bin in the hall, please no expired items or glass jars can be accepted.
Mark your calendar for the annual Children Easter Party on Saturday April 1st from noon until 2pm. Check out the flyer in the clubroom and the bulletin boards. Children infants to 10 years old are welcome to come and see the Easter Bunny and get a special gift. Sign-up will close on March 27th so please sign up early. Lunch will be served to all the children and adults too!! Thanks to the Son’s for donating there time and food to serve lunch.
Our next scheduled meeting will be at 6pm on April 18th in the conference room. Please come and say hello to our District President Moe who will be attending.
Attendance is down with our Auxiliary and we really need help and support from our members. If you have time to help with breakfast’s, dinners and programs we really need you!!! Please give me a call and let me know what you can do to volunteer.
