Eagle Scout Court of Honor

On December 17, 2023, Boy Scout Troop 669, sponsored by American Legion J.B. Clark Post 149, recognized and honored Andrew Hernandez for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. This is the the highest achievement in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). The requirements to become an Eagle Scout include: Earning at least 21 merit badges, 14 of which are mandatory; Providing leadership in your Troop and community; Planning, organizing and executing a service project that benefits your community.

Since its inception in 1911, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process.
