Due to construction that will be taking place up and down Grand Ave., the Legion was in jeopardy of having to cancel the Veterans Day Parade this year. I’m happy to report that the city intervened on our behalf and the parade will be taking place this year on Escondido Blvd between Mission and Valley Pkwy! The bad news is Co-Chairs normally have 4 months to organize the parade. This year we have roughly 35 days to execute the event.
If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer or sponsor, please do not hesitate to contact me. This year’s parade and post-parade program promises to be bigger and better than last year. Sponsorship and volunteers are the driving forces that make this amazing event possible so if you are available, we would love to have your lending hands.
College night will be taking place on October 26th! “Carl’s Bad Habits” will be rocking the house as usual!
Thanks to our newly reformed Clubroom Committee, Halloween decorations will be up in short order!
